Government Degree College Sidhra, affiliated to the University of Jammu, was established in the year 2019 by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. While earlier functioning from Lower High School Bain Bajalta, the college shifted to its own Prefabricated Campus in 2024.Located in the midst of nature with Tawi river on the one side and Shivalik Hills on the other, the college offers a spectacular and resplendent view of nature. A co-educational college, GDC Sidhra offers Under Graduate Programs in Arts and Commerce. The college has successfully implemented NEP 2020, from 2022- 2023 session as per the guidelines of University of Jammu.
